Some diamonds, in addition to their beauty, hold an extraordinary story. Ocean Diamonds come from the seabed off the coast of Namibia and represent a particularly fascinating option for those who desire a natural stone with a distinctive origin.

An extraordinary origin
Formed billions of years ago deep within the Earth, these diamonds were transported to the surface by ancient volcanic eruptions. Over time, erosion slowly freed them from the rock and entrusted them to the rivers, which carried them to the Atlantic Ocean.
Their very long journey finally ended on the seabed off the coast of Namibia, where they remained preserved by the ocean.

In harmony with nature
Ocean Diamonds are recovered by small, specialized vessels that collect a thin layer of sediment from the seabed. After the diamonds are separated, the sediments are returned to the marine environment according to strict environmental protocols.
Compared to traditional open-pit mines, this method avoids extensive landscape alteration, deforestation, and displacement of local communities. The activity is also accompanied by scientific studies and environmental monitoring, with the goal of preserving the balance of the marine ecosystem and biodiversity.

The certainty of origin
Ocean Diamonds come from a fully traceable supply chain and are traded in compliance with the Kimberley Process, the international system established to combat the trade in so-called "conflict diamonds" and guarantee their legitimate origin.
For other natural diamonds intended for our creations, we also rely exclusively on partners who meet high standards of responsibility and transparency, including suppliers who are members of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).

Ocean Diamonds are entirely natural diamonds: they are not synthetic nor created through laboratory processes. Each stone is unique and carries the mark of a journey that began deep within the Earth and continued through rivers and the ocean.
In our Atelier, this journey continues through artisanal craftsmanship, transforming the diamond into a jewel created to hold a new and personal story.
