To preserve the beauty of your jewel over time, we recommend cleaning it periodically and avoiding contact with aggressive chemicals, such as detergents, perfumes, or cosmetics. It is also good practice not to wear it during activities where it might be subjected to knocks, scratches, or deformation, such as manual labor, sports, or gardening. When not being worn, it is preferable to store it separately from other jewelry to protect it from potential rubbing. With a few daily precautions, it will be possible to maintain its brilliance and preserve it at its best, even for future generations. Pure gold is naturally yellow: white gold does not exist in nature. Its shade is achieved by creating an alloy with naturally white metals, such as palladium, in percentages that can vary based on the composition chosen by the manufacturer.

In industrial production, an 18kt white gold alloy with a relatively low percentage of palladium is often used, primarily to limit costs on large quantities. When the thin surface rhodium plating wears off with normal use, the underlying alloy may then show a slightly yellowish hue. This is a natural consequence of the wear of the rhodium plating and not a defect of the jewelry, although the color change may understandably be unwelcome.

For all our artisan creations, however, we use an 18kt white gold alloy with a high percentage of palladium. For this reason, even when the rhodium plating fades over time, the jewelry retains a naturally white shade, without taking on the typical yellowish color of alloys with a lower palladium content.

Rhodium plating can still be renewed in our Atelier to restore the original brilliance and appearance of the jewelry.

It's not necessary: our Atelier is open to the public during regular business hours. However, for dedicated consultations, the design of custom jewelry, or choosing wedding rings, we recommend making an appointment so that we can dedicate all the necessary time and attention to you.

Yes, we offer various solutions for those who wish to choose responsibly sourced, traceable, or certified materials. As a standard, we use recycled OEKOGOLD precious metals for our creations, and upon request, we also offer Fairmined and Fairtrade gold. We also offer diamonds and gemstones from selected supply chains, such as Ocean Diamonds, CanadaMark, and Moyo Gems.

Yes. Gigi Leanza Creazioni Orafe SA is registered with the Central Office for Precious Metals Control as a buyer of materials to be melted down, in accordance with Art. 31a of the Precious Metals Control Act.

We purchase used gold, offering a transparent valuation calculated based on the weight, metal purity, and current gold price. Payment is made in cash. Any stones present in the jewelry are carefully removed and always returned to the customer.

No, we do not purchase precious or semi-precious stones from private individuals. For our jewelry and handcrafted creations, we rely exclusively on selected suppliers who can guarantee the origin, authenticity, and quality of the gemstones.

Yes. All the jewelry handcrafted in our atelier, as well as those selected from our suppliers and offered as ready-made, are covered for a period of two years from delivery by the legal guarantee against any material or manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratches, accidental damage or damage resulting from improper use, lack of maintenance, loss or breakage of stones caused by impacts, nor interventions carried out by third parties.

Each piece of jewelry will be individually examined by our atelier to ascertain the nature of the problem and identify the most appropriate solution. We are also available for assistance and maintenance even after purchase.
